We make a serious effort to keep rates and rules accurate, but we do not guarantee that every rate is current to the day. VAT rates and rules change frequently. Always verify against the relevant authority before acting on information from this site. Kiznis Studio accepts no liability for losses or damages arising from reliance on the contents of this site to the maximum extent permitted by law.
VAT-number validator
The validator forwards your input to the European Commission's VIES service (or HMRC for GB-prefix numbers) in real time. The result reflects what that service returned at the moment of your query. We do not retain your input. The validator is provided "as is" and may be unavailable when VIES or HMRC is unavailable.
Permitted use
You may read, print, and reference the contents of PlainVAT for personal and professional purposes. You may link to any page on the site. You may not scrape the site in violation of our robots.txt, or republish substantial portions of our content without attribution. Third-party links
PlainVAT links to primary reference sources (European Commission, Eurostat, HMRC, member-state tax authorities). We are not responsible for the content of those external sites.

Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Lithuania. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Vilnius, without prejudice to mandatory consumer-protection law in your country of residence.
